I just purchased a L6 motorola gsm unlocked phone online. I have suncom gsm service but i can't send or recieve picture messages and i cant connect to internet. I went to suncom they said since its not a suncom phone it wont do these task. The phone has the option to do these it doesnt make sense please help me.

Yup. That's the problem with buying 'unlocked' phones. That is why it is against the user policy of almost every company to add a phone onto their network that does not have that particular company's user interface in it. You can expect your data, messaging, GPS, ERI and other features to work improperly with unlocked phones.

all you need to do is enter the browser and MMS web sessions - this is a standard issue when you buy a phone that has not been programmed for your provider's network. i don't have a link for you to get the settings, but keep searching - perhaps someone else will see this thread and post them for you.

I am not familiar with the settings needed for your service provider. However, most providers have a website that lists the settings necessary. Find the provider recommended settings for the phone. Service for some providers requires a SEEM edit to "name" the phone one that the provider supports (I have had to change this on some phones to get the SMS to work). You likely will need to find someone who has a phone working with that provider and get a copy of their 'websessions' and 'cert' files and load them in the proper folder on your phone.
