Please bear with my ignorance as I am new to this cell phone/web experience!

I am using Motorola Phone Tools v4 with my E815. I use Alltel's wireless data package ($25/mo) to use my cell phone as a modem for my PC (XP, USB cable).

Do I need to download drivers for the 815 or anything? Is there any way to boost the connection speed, either between the PC and the phone, or between the phone and web servers?
