8125 On The Way

Hello all. I'm getting my 8125 in a couple of days and have a few questions. I did a search, but different threads have different answers.

1. Can I listen to music over my bluetooth? It's not a stereo headset, just the single.

2. Can I use MP3s as ringtones and Message Alerts?

3. Are there any 3rd party apps that I can....
Create movies (Smartmovie)
Lock certain folders

I'm currently using a Nokia 6682 and I'm very pleased with it. I just wanna step my phone game up. Is the 8125 better all around?

Thanks guys and gals.

1. No. You need an A2DP headset to listen to music. Your headset only has the handsfree profile; not the headset profile needed.

2. Yes. You can choose .mp3 and .wav, etc.. for ringtones.

3. You can not lock directories. Check out pocketgear.com or handango.com for all the software you can handle.

You mean tweaks? Check out XDA-Developers.

Yeah, lots.. XDA has some info, but, I currently find them a little on the, oh, annoying side :P

You can check out http://www.htc-devs.com - I'll be posting some of my work there too... Although, I mostly deal with the Hermes (8525) not the Wizard (8125).

I went to XDA and I'm freaking lost!!!! I don't even know what I'm looking at. What is a ROM?

The wiki is your best source of info typically.. Stay FAR away from ROM's unless you are willing to do a LOT of reading. You can easily destroy your phone.

Thanks man. I really gotta find a program to lock my folders though. I found something to listen to my music over my bluetooth so I'm good now.
