I wanted to buy a w710i at first but after reading posts, I think I might just buy the z710i considering it's cheaper. So my question is, exactly how difficult is it to change all the stuff over? Like if I buy the z710 is it really hard to get the Walkman and other features from w710? I'm computer savvy but I'm not a hacker or anything. So all this talk of firmware and what not has me confused. Also will all my numbers from my SIM card be erased? I checked out the Wotanserver place but really without the phone in hand it's a bit confusing. So can someone explain in laymen's terms exactly what kind of things I need to do and how difficult it is? Also how much is 7 euros in US $? Thanks in advance!

It's very easy to flash the firmware using wotanserver. Your phone should come with a USB cable and (aside from the phone itself), that's all that's needed. When you flash your phone, the instructions say that you have to remove your SIM card and the M2 memory card before flashing, so you can be assured you won't lose any numbers from your SIM. Make sure the battery is fully charged. Download the client and the USB Driver. Follow the instructions on Wotanserver.com to install the USB Drive. Then follow the instructions on flashing the phone. The instructions on the website seem very simple and they are! With your phone turned off, hold down the 'c' button and plug in the USB cable. Once it recognizes your phone, you can release the 'c'. Then you make some changes, select your firmware (ie.. Generic America), and let it do its thing.
