Firmware Upgrade for L6?

Sorry if this question has already been answered. I tried searching for L6, but the forum won't let me search for a 2 letter word!

Does anyone know what the latest firmware for the L6 is and where I can download it?

My Flex version is GSUL6T676BF0AC
S/W Version: R3511_G_0A.52.2BR_A
DPS S/W Version: 623F3F00

I need quadband and UNLOCKED of course!

well to enable quadband, you don't need a firmware upgrade. But I would suggest trying to search on google. Gocellular.org might have some links to recent L6 firmware

To enable quad band, you need to look up the L6 quad band seem edit thread

Latest is 0A.63.12R, and it's Cingular branded/unlocked. That firmware is available at modmymoto.com downloads section. If you don't mind unbranding the thing after the flash, locate and flash the firmware above. If not, I think 60.1CR is the second latest.

OK, the guy on ModMyMoto suggested that I use one of his MPs. To make a long story short, his MP was a version R3517 and my original version was version R3511_G_0A.52.2BR_A.

My phone is now completely dead, except that it can still connect to Flash&Backup and RSD Lite. It will not turn on unless it is connected to one of them, and even then it just says "software upgrade in progress".

Did the version issue cause the problem? I've tried to reflash Cingular version R3511_G_0A.52.2BR_A_PDS00D_LP0020_DRM0201_JPJAVA_G _0A_L6_05_00_14R_GSUL6T676MS0F0_1FF.shx which I found on that same site, but

Every time it gets to "Sending the loader..." it says "Error!"

Is this phone permanently dead?

OK, Ill try to walk this through for you. Are you on a Windows machine? If so, Google for RSD Lite 2.7, or a higher version.
R3517 and 3511 are interchangeable, I think the difficulty here is the bootloader version. When I had an L6 3511, i flashed it to a R3517 with zero problems, I used this one However, you may also try an R3511 one .

I have a MacBookPro but I have windows installed. Already have RSD lite 3.5 installed.

Hi Tom.

I am "the guy over at modmymoto.com".

I did suggest the iPhone MP which was made using the stripped down version of the Cingular firmware which is one of the newest around. I have recommend the same procedure that "siliconvalley78" did. Nothing wrong with this.

Just wanted to straighten things out and not be bad looked.
