I love this question. I've asked a few times myself. Seems to be a secret OR "they" just don't know. It is very possible that "they" are not allowed to say as part of there employment w/ cingular. But, someone knows (here)!

aarrgghh! They still have the L6 phone on their website front page. Isnt there already a L8 out? Cmon Cingular!

well the iphone is coming out soon and supposedly so is the RAZR2 and a 3g Sony. Not a clue when.

Yep. I dont think they are going to release any major phone until the iphone. I've been dying for something new. The Nokia N75 was a dud, I liked my V3 Razr more. In the past reps have gave me insight on new phones but not lately. But seriously, Cingular phones selection pales in comparisson to Verizon. They need to step it up before customers start stepping out.
