I was trying to set up my Email as per Cingular website and had problems. Called Tech support and they had me change my configurations. After that I can't open web, can't send test or msm messages. I have been on with Tech support over a dozen times trying to get the proper configuration. They patched my call to Nokia. Nokia said I would have to send my phone to them or have Cinguliar send me a new one. They agreed to but the N75 is out of stock.
On Configuration > Connection > Access points all that show up is Media Net, Multimedia Net and Proxyless. On thier website it shows more. But I know the settings are wrong in these 3 because they had me change them and everytime I talk to another Tech person at Cingular they have me put something different in it.
If anyone is using an N75 can you please just give me the settings you have. This has been going on for over a week.

you would probably have better luck with your question in the s60 forum. you could try to create a new access point and use it for email. create a new connection and use medianet as an existing connection. what error are you getting? what type of email are you trying to setup? cingular mail? built in mail? mms uses a different ap anyway so it shouldn't matter.

that fixed a few bugs. Cingular gave me different settings. I still can't send multimedia messages, only plain test. It just keeps saying will resend later if you attach a image. When you call tech support you first are talking to someone who reading from a manual. Then once they have your settings good and screwed up they then actually connect you with a real tech. Even when they are walking you thru the menu they are giving you wrong information and I have to tell them that's not how you get to that setting.
are the only three settings you have are media net multimedia net and proxyless? I think I really need the correct multimedia settings. But this phone hasn't worked correctly since I got it. And now they are backordered according to the email I got. I thnk they are rebranding the phone so they say AT&T on the outside as well. Sorry if I am posting in the wrong area but I never had problems before and never really had to post before, but I was using the original old razor and finally took the jump and got a symbian phone. I am ready to just get myself a good ol walkie talkie. But thanks for the setting you did give me

You also have might have to go into the Message Setup if there is one. I've found on a lot of phones, you go into Messages --> Setup --> Advanced.
This will ask you to setup (3) your data accounts to use with MMS messages. You would want to select the internet settings supplied in post #5 in this thread.
Remember that you'll also need to setup your data settings like posted in #3 also. So you need 2 Data accounts, one "internet" and the other "MMS", respectively. Next go into your messages setup and select the MMS account for use with media apps.
Also there should be OTA (Over The Air) settings that cingular provides in a SMS message, that sets this up all automatically. I think you can find that URL somewhere. on the Cingular WiKi.
