Then I think under your Wi-Fi connection setting (once you are connected to your WI-Fi), make sure the network type is the same "Internet". Yeah, after you made your edits to your GPRS settings, "The remote party has ended the connection" should hopefully mean we are not able to use GPRS at all. If you are getting that message even after WI-FI is connected, I think your IE is somehow defaulting to use GPRS.
If you don't plan to use GPRS at all, you can also call Rogers CS and have them put a block on your Data. Just a thought. |
