How is the LG CU 500V phone in weak signal areas?

I've decided I don't want the Motorola V3xx, due to button work.

The LG has calls in & calls out on one menu. I like that.

But I'm in a weak signal area and my Motorola V551 is struggling...

I just recently upgraded from a 551 myself. I have not noticed any difference in reception between the two. I am not in a 3G area either. I use an external antenna on my vehicle which helps significantly.

Well both the V3xx and the A707 should marginally beat out the cu500 in the reception department.
