With WM6 or WM5?

Posted by: juiceppc

Seems it only works in Opera and WM6...

Posted by: LIVEFRMNYC

Yup, I couldn't get it to work on both my PPC and smartphone using WM5.

Posted by: pcdo

Maybe if you overclock then it won't be so laggy.

I'm sure the reason it's laggy is because T-Mobile is only on EDGE so it's like being on dialup. Youtube really needs broadband to play normally, and even then sometimes it might lag a bit.

I'm getting my Blackjack tonight, WM5 of course with Cingular. Is everyone saying that you can not get YouTube using WM5?

Apparentlly not, and I was so looking forward to doing just this with the blackjack. Guess we will have to wait till Cing Cing decides to give use WM6.

On the xda-developer forum someone had gotten it working with WM5 and Moto Q phone, so it should work with the blackjack.

You say that, but m.youtube.com doesn't have most of the videos on youtube, especially the older, less popular videos. It will take quite awhile for them to get all the existing videos onto the mobile site.

Just be patient, more videos will be coming to mobile YouTube! I drink to that

Posted by: jbzcar

Works great on my 3125 over EDGE!

Posted by: player911

I watched a few youtube videos on my blackjack without this...

whats the point of this?

I just tested it just to be sure. I use Opera Mobile... go to m.youtube.com, click "watch video"... and Windows Media Player opens and plays the video...

Posted by: jbs221

I keep getting "Failed to find network" and the video doesn't play.
TM Dash WM6, this is using either Edge or WiFi. Also using the Proxy and T-Zones on Dash.

Never mind, I found the REAL answer. Oh well.

i think someone should really make a post or another thread with a step by step instructions on how to do this bcause people have to go to like 2 differnt webpages to get everything done and some still done get what need to be done here...
