I've searched the forums but couldn't get a clear answer.
I have a K790a and I would like to install the language pack EUROPE_5 with Italian.
When I connect my phone to the Wotan server that language pack is not available but if I chose K790i it is.
Can I safely put K790i firmware on the K790a?
Will it break the 850MHz band?

hmmm...it should work cuz both phones are identical besides the 850band and 900 band u could try and if all goes wrong just flahs it bak... =D

GSM850 will be intact, like mine (see my profile)

that is no problem i have k790a and changed my firmware to HK and even though the model # is k790i but i still have the GSM850 under the configuration menu.
