Is it different from the (unofficial?) fw11 that was available a couple of weeks ago?

This one is great for anyone that hasn't upgraded yet and wants to or someone that like the easy update of 08 and waiting for the same type of install to come again. No choosing com port or speed just basically plug and go.

I would read the threads and get peoples views on it if you want to grab an idea of performance or an opinion on vsn 011 ... I have been using it for 2 days and find it stable as 08 seems so far so good but maybe someone that has been using it for a longer period of time may could comment. One really neat thing with 011 is you can choose your own T9 language! According to Siemens f/w 11 not only allows you to choose your own T9, but also gives you the following:

- Improved memory access and CPU usage to secure low power consumption
- Optimized structure of various sub menu items
- Enhanced handling of accessories
- Updated Java and sound functionalities
- Improved overall software stability through technical enhancements

I was planning on staying at 08 until a later f/w update came out but installed 11 just to test BT with various headsets but going on my third day using f/w 11 I can honestly say that I definately like it. If you choose to install 011 and don't like it you can always flash back to 08... but IMO seems very stable

damn!! after upgrading my phone to 11, my picture storage increased to 86 pics!!

Good to hear! Put your take on HBH 60 with f/w 011 once you've had a chance to try it out in the "Ericsson HBH 60 with s55" thread let us all know what you think.

i just upgraded mine from 8 to 11. i can feel that now switching between menus is faster and has less lag than before. great firmware
