My contract is about to run out so I've been looking for a new phone. The main thing I'm looking for is the ability to look at websites. My friend has a phone that you can go online but it makes the website look so bad that you can't even use it. So what phone would you say has the best web browser?

There is no one BEST phone. the best for you probably won't be the best for me. Need to know a bit more about what you are really looking to do. What websites? What carrier you want to use..

Unless a sight in enable for mobile devices, it will probably not look as good as it does on your PC. In addition, surfing on a cell phone can be extremely slow as the true speed depends on the carrier,the connection the device processor and available memory.

Well I want to be able to see images on websites, I know its gonna be slow but I can wait. It would be good if it was verizon because all my friends use verizon but I don't really care because I don't talk that much.

I'm kinda leaning towards the helio ocean, but since its not verizon i'm still undecided. Also, since its so new and I don't know anyone who has it, Its hard to know how well it works.

Well after more googling I've narrowed it down to 3 phones - the Helio Ocean, the LG VX9900 (enV), or the Samsung SCH-u740. Which one would be the best for web browsing?

Verizon? Check what smartphone or PDA phone that is available from Verizon and go from there.

I did not know that Verizon has the Ocean. Remember that if it isn't a Verizon branded device, you may not be able to use it on Verizon (or Sprint for that matter). They both tend to only allow their phones on their networks.
