This was just released today...ays it's supposed to improve battery life and fix the gibberish signal issue.

I almost broke my neck running to get my power adapter and hot-sync cord...before I figured out that it was basically a glorified rebranding. I am happy with my 680's battery life (after two full-drain/full-charge routines to calibrate the meter properly and "set" battery)...have only had one "gibberish" scare...and don't give a damn about AT&T rebranding. So why am I going to download something into my phone that might cause it to be less stable...and doesn't do squat? Answer: I'm not!!
Good news is, that this opens the door for a custom ROM in the near future, or some real McCoy firmware upgrades. Then I might jump on the bandwagon...
