HTC P4350 not ringing

Hi,

I have one of 6 P4350's that go into a "hibernation" mode after being idle for about an hour or so. If the phone is called, the caller will hear it ringing, but the handset does not ring. If the power button is depressed or the slider opened during the ringing, the device will start to ring.

When it is this mode, it will not accept SMS or give a missed calls notification.

Has any had any similar experiences?

Haven't had nor have heard of that issue. I would do a hard reset and start from scratch

Have done that a couple of times and still have the problem. Called HTC Europe and l looged a call on the 22 May. Even after calling them almost every day (they never called back altought they promised to), still can't get the problem resolved.

The thing is that they claimed that this problem was escalated to their engineering, yet no one ever called to ask me to run any diagnostics or to try changing settings.

I asked for a copy of Wm6 to see if the problem was Wm5 and after a promise - nothing.

Well, we finally solved the problem - we packed up the handsets and shipped them back!!!!
