Currently I just got the Samsung SCH u740 as my e815 met an untimely demise with the ground at high speed. I'm not sold on the phone and am pretty sure I will without a doubt exchange it for another phone.

Points of interest

I'm used to being able to drag/drop pictures/sounds/etc. through bluetooth (hacked e815) and if at all possible I would like to be able to achieve this feat through whatever phone you all can suggest. Being able to get custom ring tones and pictures onto the phone is essential.
I have Motorola Phone Tools and like the versatility it provides with outlook and being able to text message while being on the computer and having your phone in your pocket.
Long battery life. My e815 lasted about 4-5 days on a charge with moderate talking and text and w/ vibrate turned off. Something that lasts at least 3 days would be best, but more would be even better.
Quick interface. My e815 had a fairly sluggish interface and reset almost every other use which drove me to finally end it's life by intersecting it with the ground at high speed. This isn't a must, but it would be nice.
Style in order of preference would be candybar, slider, flip.
Monthly cost. If at all possible I'd like to keep it to a minimum. But I don't mind shelling out decent cash for a nice phone up front.

Phones I was looking at:

Blackberry 8830 (pearl?) the new one that is being released on the 28th. I think I'd be all over this phone with two exceptions. Cost & no camera. I've actually become accustom to sending silly faces and random pictures to people rather than text messages and I think I might actually miss that feature. Unless someone can justify it otherwise based on other functionality the phone might provide that meets the above points of interest.
Motorola SLVR. I haven't looked to see how hackable this phone is, that would be my first step. I like the candybar shape and the battery life is very nice. My only hold back is how crackable it is.
Motorola K1m. Seems like the same as the SLVR but might get slightly better reception, better battery life by a few hours? Seems kinda thin for my large hands, but otherwise might be doable. Wasn't ever a fan of the razr key's as they weren't tactile enough for me. I suppose I could deal though.
Samsung SCH e740. Current phone I'm trying out. Not super impressed yet, but I haven't looked up how hackable it is or if at all. Also worried about the flip area and how strong it will be in a year or two.
Samsung SCH a930. This looks like a seriously great little cheap phone. I don't think I'd be disappointed with this as a hold over until something better comes along. If it supported custom ring tones and/or bluetooth syncing with the computer somehow this might be a very viable solution.

I've given you guys my current situation and wants. Hopefully you all can make some suggestions and point me in the right direction? Or maybe I'm on the wrong carrier for my desires entirely. I've been with Verizon for a long time now and receive a discount through my work as well as most of my friends/family are on it, so that would be the only reason I wouldn't switch.

Lord knows it's not the phone selection that keeps me a customer...

Just noticed the other thread on the enV. That might be what I end up going too as it's sort of a candybar phone and yet... not. Only thing about LG's I've NEVER had good luck with them. They always fall apart on me and or feel "cheap".

How's the hacking support for the enV?
