Hey All,
Currently have a VX6100 with Verizon...Time to upgrade
I thought I had it all narrowed down to a 700P, but am now rethinking this...

My requirements are pretty simple...
A good working phone that will help organize my life a bit better.
I dont think I need any type of Internet Browsing or Active Email capabilities
I do need an efficient Calendar, and maybe some editing capabilites for MS Office tools...(not really sure on that issue)
Not a real TXT fanatic..(currently pay as you go)

I would get just another simple phone, but I am tired of trying to use Bitpim to sync up my phone when I could have it built in....

I am currently running Outlook at both home and work.

Is there something out there that is not a Smartphone that has "smartphone" type capabilities when it comes to syncing calendars and contacts???

If I could find a phone that would sync both work and home outlook, I think I might be happy...

ps..where would a smartphone Noob go to learn about EVDO, Wifi, etc??

Keep in mind that a true "Smartphone" can only view Word and Excel documents, not edit, at least they can't in WM5. You need the Pocket PC (PPC) for that.

There is a 3rd party application for about $200 that will allow you to do that and I have heard Documents to Go is working on a Smartphone version.
