Signal Threshold Adjustments

I know from when I had my Kyocera that KPST allows the user to set the threshold at which a phone starts to look for another system. You had to enable 'advanced' or 'master' settings, but it was settable, and I did adjust that at one time with success. Is there any seem, test mode value, or PST modification that does the same for CDMA Motorolas?
