I am looking at both these units and I am wondering which is good for a second device just for communicating. I want to use blackberry connect on either of these devices so thats a must. Anyone have experiences with both? Which one is better overall and overall bang for the buck? thank you in advance.

Its a personal choice. I have both and love them both. The HTC is a smaller, lighter, narrower form factor and I like to use it when I don't want the bulk of the e61. Also, they are apples and oranges. One is symbian and the other windows. The symbian is more stable, however, I like the way that windows mobile interacts with my work exchange server effortlessly syncing my contacts, tasks and mail. The e61 does have more of a wow factor in public...tough choice...that's I why I bought both!
