Forgive me... transferring data to new xv6700?

I'm sure this has been posted elsewhere...but I couldn't find it. My joystick is beat so Verizon tech sent a new xv6700, I don't want to sync with my Outlook as I have many contacts, etc... that I really don't want on my phone. All I want to do is backup my present XV6700, (photos, settings, contacts, etc...) transfer everything onto the new one...and then send back my busted XV6700.

Please help this moron!

you could buy a backup program like spg backup or spritebackup (I know spg has a trial avalible) and a mini sd card, install the software on the old phone, backup to memory card, install program on the new phone, and backup from the memory card. either that, or use the device explorer built into active sync, copy all the info from that onto your hd, and move it over to your new phone when you sync it.
