can i pair the 8525 to a keyboard?

I have a Think Outside Bluetooth keyboard -- when I get my 8125, I'll let you know.

But, I see no reason it couldn't... My old WM2003 SMT5600 could pair with it (with a special driver) and since WM5 implemented the full BT HID profile, my 2125 had that capability...without a 3rd party driver.

so where could i find a small one thats good for cheap?

I've got the "iGo™ Stowaway® Ultra-Slim Bluetooth® Keyboard" (how's that for an easy to remember product name?) made by the company formerly known as Think Outside.

I've used it with both my Cingular 3125 and now with my 8525 with very good results. Simply load up the driver that you can download from their site, press three keys on the keyboard, enter a security code and you're off to the races.

The keyboard is fairly small when folded up (about the size of a CD case and a little thicker if I remember right), and is a about the same size as a laptop style keyboard when unfolded.

You can search online and get them from about $65 - $150 US, depending on which company you hit. You may be able to find them for less used or on an auction site.

One thing to note, there are no dedicated number keys. If you want to type numbers frequently within text, this will be a pain. If you don't, then I'd recommend taking a look at this keyboard.

Hope this helps.
