Cingular 8125 - Free Internet?

I've got only one question, and i'm hoping it will have a simple answer.
After going through all these old threads about Wi-Fi connectivity, MediaNet, EDGE, and everything else, I still haven't found a solid, good answer. I'm sorry this is such a n00b-ish question.

How can I connect to the Internet (via Wi-Fi) without being charged by Cingular on my Cingular 8125?

You can try deleting the dial up profiles for cingular and then just turning on wifi.

There is a program called NODATA and it will allow you to turn off the GPRS data so you don't get charged:

If you don't ever plan to use the cellular data link and don't want to get charge for accidental use then call customer service and have them put a data block on the line.

Thanks, guys.
This helped a lot.
