I have a Verizon 325i, and am wondering what the difference is between Automatic A and Automatic B.
I can figure out Analog Only and Home Only, but am confused at the 2 automatic options. Any Ideas?

The "Automatic" part refers to the automatic selection of Digital or Analog service; A or B is simply which service band is selected for your carrier.

So, should it matter if A or B is chosen? Will one get have my phone use different towers?

It matters greatly. If your carrier uses the "B" band (which Verizon does), then choosing "A" band will ensure that you are almost always roaming. Plus, "A" band coverage is tower-to-tower communication, while "B" band is tower-to-line (unless things have changed). This is why carriers choosing "B" band tend to have more consistent cellular performance.
