Is there a way to Allow Voice Commands Through Bluetooth Headdset??

I purchased my first smart phone the other day, T Mobile Dash, and found that you can not make voice commands through the Bluetooth headset. To allow the BT to work you have to hold the home button down say the voice command into the phone then a screen pops up that asks if that is the correct number. Then another button is pushed to accept the number and dial it...to many steps/distractions and IMO defeats the purpose of both voice commands and BT.
I would like to find a smartphone in which voice commands can be sent via BT like it did on my Razor...I pushed a button on the BT headset, the BT asked me to say a command and I would say Call home or whatever number I asked.
Are all smartphones voice activation like this? Is there any SF's that I can give voice commands through the BT headset?
I do most of my calling while traveling and having to push buttons and see if the phone is dialing the correct number is distracting and would prefer not to.
Thanks!
Mike

Unfortunately, I think you would have to go to the manufacturers websites/your carriers websites to find out for sure, HOWEVER, since the Razr (and indeed my V3t Razr does this as well, so I know exactly what you mean, and I will NEVER have a phone that won't allow me this top quality level of voice command name OR number dialing again!) did it, I would imagine that the Motorola Q would do it as well. I know for sure Blackberries do it, and in fact the Blackberry pearl (so I would imagine later models of the Balckberry as well does it) you can voice dial names, numbers and even recite text messages and the blackberry types it out for you (the dealer told me about that feature, I never used it myself, never used ablackberry before) but that's all I personally have heard of.

Well...it's been a while since I posted this thread...GREAT RESEARCH!
I had problems using WM6 Voice command on my Dash so I reutrned it for a Wing. Voice Command should work on the Dash I think if I had more patience I might have got it to work. I have found Tmob's technical support helpful.
Voice command works fine on my Wing except I did have to try several BT headsets 'till I found one that worked the best. The BT headset I use now with my Wing is the Jawbone Aliph.
The BT headsets I have used are the Samsung WEP 200, Jabra JX10 and Jabra BT8010, several Moto's...the Aliph Jawbone is by far the best.

I tried for days to get my Plantronics Voyager 510 bluetooth headset to work with the Voice Command on my T-Mobile Dash which I just updated to Windows Mobile version 6. After researching for hours tonight I found this forum thread and followed the instructions and IT WORKS NOW!! I just thought I'd share
Trying to get Voice Command to work with BT on WM6 Dash?
There has been some reports about users not being able to get their Bluetooth headset working with Voice Command on the T-Mobile WM6 Dash update. here's a quick fix:
Users can restore BT headset functionality by changing the following reg key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Bluetooth\Au dioGateway\_
BTAGExtModule=\windows\vcbthag.dll
Soft reboot is required after making the change.
Free registry editor

The voice command works though my BT headset, though it does seem to have difficulty interpreting my commands... I have Windows Mobile 6.1 on my device.
