I want to try something besides the blazer browser from palm.....

is it true that opera mini is the way to go?

when I try to install it, the phone says

"please ensure that

IBM's websphere micro environment java vm

is installed"

when i search for that software it appears to not be free...

advice/suggestions?????

It's free on Palm's site. You can google for "websphere java vm" and you should then find a link to the Palm site. You do have to fill out a questionnaire, and you will see that it was for the 650. However, also keep in mind that it is a couple of years old now, and many feel the reason that Opera Mini locks up from time to time. Anyway, hope this helps you since no one else answered your question and I just came upon it.

Update to this please.....

I've downloaded the required files and got Opera to pull up, but when it gets to the part where you have to agree to the eula, it shuts down and kicks me back into the phones main menu. BTW, I have Sprint Treo 755p
