WM6 on T-MO MDA: No MMS???

I just received my mda back from an exclusive microsoft sanctioned upgrade program, and now I don't have any mms support. Does anyone know anything about this issue, or better yet, have a fix for it? I use tons of text messages on a monthly basis and I'd hate to have to go back to wm5 just for mms...

To clarify, I don't need the settings for mms. My phone no longer displays anything having to do with mms under messaging and i'd like to fix this as soon as possible.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

it should be together with the sms. in messaging it should say text/multimedia. they just bundled them together in wm6

I'm not trying to be rude, but your statement is obvious. I know that it's SUPPOSED to be there...it just isn't. When I go to messaging, and select the menu, I don't even have the option for the mms configuration. Is there possibly something in the registry I can do to enable this? Everything worked fine with wm5...

Could be the WM6 Rom you are using. What one did you put on? Try a new wm6 rom or Go back to the tmo one, and do some research on some of the WM6 roms.

The ROM I'm using is an official Microsoft ROM. A microsoft tech put it on. So I know the rom isn't bad....There has to be something in the registry....

well either the tech that upgraded you is an idiot and erased it, the rom isnt complete, or you erased it. there is no registry hack to enable mms it is a feature that is built in on every rom.

Now why would Microsoft waste there time with a official wm6 rom for the MDA. When HTC, Nor any carrier is going to release it.

If what you say is true, why not just call this tech up?

use the tmobile config tool to setup mms for your mda.

I see what you're saying, however, there are tons of registry entries that say mms. Also, there is an entry that states MMSavailable, but it's set to 0. I've tried changing it, but my efforts are useless. What sucks even more, is the rom was installed by microsoft, so it's a 100% legitimate copy that I don't have to worry about. I'd rather have a bootleg copy with mms though...

Microsoft isn't releasing an wm6 upgrade to my knowledge, this was part of a microsoft VIP appreciation program. And the device is actually an I-mate Kjam, that's my mistake, I've gotten so used to calling it an mda because nobody I ever come in contact with knows what the hell a Kjam is. But it's identical.

try going to http://forum.xda-developers.com the guys there can tell you how to dump your ROM and im sure one of them would gladly take a look at your official ROM and tell you what is needed. then i am sure they will love you if it is really an official rom. go to the wizard section

Ha sure. All I want is my mms. They can have whatever they want, just give me my damn MMS!!!
