Cingular 8125 Problem

I have a Cingular 8125, and Ive tried switching themes, the standard ones, and it doesnt work, nothing changes. Went to settings>personal>today select a new theme, click ok, but nothing ever changes.
ROM Ver: 2.25.11.1
Has anyone experienced this also ?
