4GB Memory Stick Pro Duo MS Card?

Sorry for the GREEN question but the memory card I have not found a yes no answer on if the P990i can go up to a 4GIG card.

I found a few auctions where one does not say anything another says will not work with phones (no clarity as to which phones).

Is there a limitation as tot he size of card that the P990i can handle for that matter any Symbian Os phone.

I have just gotten my P990i and want to absorb as much as possible.
I have been in so many forums that I dont remember where I found what so any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

i'm using Lexar 4gb MS Duo it reconize the full size no problem

I won this auctions (last minute bid without looking) and he says not for phone/PDA's:

that actually really interesting but looks to me just one of those fake MS Duo 4gb on ebay

u should watch out next time but if it works well u're really lucky

What makes you think its fake?
Because he said that it would not work with a phone or PDA?

i guess i shouldnt say fake, instead i should say no brand name. which doesnt have any guarantee or life time warranty like Lexar or Sony provide.

it happens on ebay a lot. a friend of mine bought a MS Duo which has "Sony" as brand name and what it prints on it says 4gb. it comes to $50 w/ shipping he thought he got a real deal. but end up he use it on his phone it only have 900mb of space and it went completely dead after 2 mths.

not that i say the product u get will be bad for sure but just a heads up if it turns bad dun be suprise

I HOPE that I am not going to get a wannabee 4 gig card.
I kind a think its going to be ok though since this guy has a 100% positive feedback rating.
He contacted me and told me that the only reason he puts wont work with phone /PDA is for those models that cant handle a 4 gig card.
He said I should have no problem with a P990i.
I will keep my fingers crossed.

just format it before on the computer or after you have it into the phone that will make sure it works properly
