help with KX5B slider sonic

so ive been lookin around a lot the past couple days.
theres not much info on the KX5B phone the slider sonic.
not the remix.
the KX5B doesnt have bluetooth.
i understand that in order to get into the phone itself on the kx5 you have to turn off the usb mass storage.
the kx5b has this in the menu. but the only option availabe is to enable it.
i know that in order for the phone to listen on a com port you have to have the mass storage disabled.
has anyone foudn a way around?
perhaps in the programming menu when you type "111111"?
any info on this phone is appreciated.
i just bought it and i cant get my pics off it.
somethings up with virgin mobile and i cant send picture msg's.
its not the phone. its happened with my previous phones on the same account.
and virgin see's nothing wrong.
sorry for rambling.
any info at all would be awesome.

There is no problem -- connect to yr pc and program it. It is possible even to write a new esn in it. Just go to the m-f forum and find the pinout.

I've read about the pin out method but nobody has confirmed it yet that I know of.

what is the m-f forum?
im new here so i dont know a whole lot.

It depends on what you wanna have to do with it. You'll get all the control of it -- to program it to any network, upload a new prl, retrieve the lockcode and auth keys, explore the efs -- alter all the vm stuff.

what im really after is to get stuff off the phone.
like my pics.
and it would be a bonus to transfer ringtones and screensavers to the phone.
but pictures is the main thing.
