I am thinking about switching providers. I am with verizon and need a change. I was looking at these two phones and they almost seem identical, except for the price (big difference).

Is it really worth it ? What does the 8525 offer over the 8125 that makes it that much better ?

I don't talk on my phone that much, just use a lot of text/pix message and maybe some internet for when i am bored at work.

depends on if u have 3g in ur area, use microsd cards.....

differences are 8525 is slightly thinner and imo looks better than 8125. processor on 8525 is 400mhz vs 200 mhz on 8125. 8525 has 3g and microsd slot. 8125 has minisd and edge only. 8525 has side scroll wheel. 8525 has ptt available with new new aku 3.5.2 att rom. 8125 has 1MP cam while 8525 has 2MP cam. depends on ur needs.

also if u like to add gps, double memory on phone, double ram, wm6 on it from factory, and in a thinner package than 8525 and screen that flips up then wait for kaiser. heard it was coming out in july(also heard iphone was coming in july bc they want to get more stock in but that another story)

personally im on a 8525 and love it. when kaiser is out and when i get the $$$ for it im going to get the kaiser.
