How do you make the Rogers Theme stop on the HTC 621

I am indifferent to the Rogers logo when I turn it on but that Rogers theme (you know, the one that goes 'da da dum') is too freaking annoying and loud when I turn on the phone. Sometimes I want to turn on my phone discretely.

BTW, had the phone week and LOVE IT

I second the request, how to get rid of that annoying SUPER LOUD start up audiologo. There must be a .wav or audio file preloaded somewhere.

I think if you put your phone on silent or vibrate before you turn it off, it will start up on silent or vibrate, thus eliminating that annoying jingle.

i will try to look for it after, but over at xda..they had a similar problem with the newest cingular rom for the 8525 (loud airplane sound) there was a hack for it...just don't remember it as I ended up changing the rom back to HTC after

Thanks guys, I found a hack here for it. Also, makes me think that it would be easy to customize your own startup sound/.gif animation. 1 month in, this phone rocks, highly recommend once you tweak the settings just right for your preference.

With Total Commander installed, navigate to
HKLM>software>HTC>where you found a startup and shutdown key, edit and empty each
then go to
HKLM\System\Shutdown\2 and changing "Splash" value to "None." Same in HKLM\System\Startup\2, as well as changing the "Duration" value in there to "0."
Reboot. You should notice a quicker shut down and only have a 2-3 seconds static T-Mobile image before the Green MS Push screen, then straight on to the Home Screen.
