for some reason some vista (and xp) machines dont like to do dhcp over ics connections...so you either try to address the root problem whatever hat might be on that puter or hardcode (look at my post in the ics thread) |

The only small issue I've noticed is I can't seem to relaunch ICS after it has been open/ended once. Have to reboot before it will launch again. |

Chudy2, do you think you can solve the RSK problem for all of the above situations, or just the "call status" situation? If the former, fantastic. If the latter, knowing how to bring the screen up is probably enough for me. Wouldn't want you to spend a bunch of time working on a cure just for that. Thanks. |

For this, SPP is needed if the bluetooth stack (on the PC) cannot present itself as a handsfree device (Widcomm/Broadcom only)|

(trying to make the samsungpopup smaller and fit in fizz weather but its not working very well). I should mention that I am using the file explorer in activesync. How does the speed with WM6 compare to the speed with WM5? it seems alot slower sometimes. like when I go to certain menus I sometimes have to wait 5 seconds before it comes up. However, sometimes its fine. I dont really have a need for mobile office. outlook html is nice but I can live without it. The main reason I wanted to upgrade was for increased speed and stability. I'll try this for a few weeks but if it stays like this, I'm thinking I would want to go back to WM5 because it seemed faster. Perhaps its all in my head, I guess I should have measured the times on WM5 before upgrading. |

If youd like you can test out the beta rom, of course that involves erasing the stuff on your phone. Sign up on the site in my sig and send me a PM, i'll give you an invite to the beta. That way you wouldnt have to do the registry editing stuff, just load it up and go. |

I suppose I havent had any batt issues with my blackjack. However, I have had two instances where I was "surpised" to find it totally dead when I thought I had at least half a day's worth of power left. I suspect it may have something to do with how there is no close button for most programs so if I forget to kill them via task manager, who knows what its doing. |

Basically I think samsung owes a paycheck to DaG for work done to improve their phone, especially since they promised what he delivered! Tx also deserves compensation for providing it to is, instead they told him to shut down. I for one will never be buying a samsung product for the rest of my life and i know a few others have made this decision too. |
