I don't know how you rate this as great. To me, no ICS, no voice dialing over BT, this WM6 is worse than current WM5 ROM other than a few pretty screen and icons. |

the computer will never acquire an ip address for the rndis sharing interface (local area network #XX will always have the autoconfigure IP of 169.*.*.*.*) i tried manually forcing it to the proper IP adresses (phone is automatically 192.168.0.1 and is also supposed to be the gateway) but still no go. my pc was 192.168.0.2 and i was able to ping both the phone and my pc from the phone but there was no outside world communication. oh well, i'll let some smarter folks try to figure out whats going on. unfortunately i do use ICS with my blackjack so not having is is a bummer. and im not gonna go backwards in usability with DUN and other tricks just so i can say i have wm6 running :P |

This morning, I wake up with a fatal exception error on my phone, along with the "Main Battery really low" warning even though my charger was plugged in the whole night. Then when I look at the home screen, it's not showing the charging indicator BUT the battery is full.

Has anyone figured out how to get rid of the UGLY 3G icon? I've tried everything and can't get rid of it. And another thing I've noticed, is Opera Mobile is about half as slow as IE in bandwidth tests. With IE, I get around 900Kbps, with Opera, about 500Kbps. I just think that's a little weird is all, and it's not WM6, as it happened with WM5. So far, that's really the only gripe I have, now if we can find some good WM6 themes, I'd be happy ![]() |

I think there is a couple bugs... unfortunately even if the slim battery hadn't charged, I looked at it when it had 2 bars left (approx 40%?) and then got a main battery low warning less then 1 hours later. That seems really quick. |

Definitely some kind of problem with WM6 seeing that the slim battery would die after less than 12 hours with WM6.
Like someone pointed out earlier it could be poor memory management. I personally think it has something to do with the radio, or processor usage, but that's just my opinion, I'm definitely no phone expert. |

I heard from someone fairly up there at Samsung that AT&T and Samsung are still talking about what to include/allow or not. Anyone have any predictions, will another leaked version show up in the next few weeks or is this it till its official, cause I don't think we will see the official version till the earliest mid-August, and maybe into September and that is despite the earlier 8 weeks from late May talk?

Does WM6 include Bluetooth DUN? It's my understanding that it should, however, all the posts about Internet Connection Sharing not being included makes me think that it isn't. Bluetooth DUN is the only feature I'm interested in at this point, so I can connet to my TomTom. Thanks for the assistance! |

Lithium batteries are very fragile and don't like to be drained fast or they get hot and it can ruin them. Also I was hoping better BT support would be available in the WM6 release. I will just wait for the official release. If ATT removed it from their forum then it must mean they don't want everyone using it.

I was having trouble with my phone constantly accessing the internet, even when I had no programs running, draining the battery in a half day. I went into: Settings-Connections-GPRS and deleted IMS CINGULAR. After that, you have to power cycle the phone. That seems to have taken care of the problem, and the constant buzzing sound I was getting on my radio at work. Hope this will help some of you that were having issues with battery life. Otherwise, I haven't had any other issues with WM6 . |
