Music Dock USB

I'm thinking of getting this music dock:

But, when I look close at some of the pictures of it, the USB cable looks a bit odd. I was wondering if it works like a normal USB cord? The picture I'm talking about is:

Looks like the dock only has 2 prongs, and with the little electronics knowledge, that adapter can only have 2 connections. Inside and outside. Normal USB cables have 6.
So I'm not sure
If anybody has the dock, please let me know.
