okay so someone said that you could get the mediamax 200 for 19.99 and it works the same as the PDA connect 39.99 unlimted. And all you had to do was go online and remove the PDA and add the mediamax. Well, there is no way to remove the PDA connect anyone found a way around it?? I called cingular and of course they said it couldn't be done..and they ended up trying the smartphone connect and that didn't work..duh I swear cingular has no idea what to do with the BJ. Sorry for the stupid question..I'm new to this kind of phone..

Of course they can remove the data plan. If you get someone who says they can't, just hang up and call again. Don't have them add the MM200, do that yourself online.

i have the blackjack with MM200...everything works..tether, CV, XM...very cheap package for unlimited data.
Do the plan change online...customer service probably wont do it for you.

I agree with the phone switch. Go online and tell them you have a 3125 and then switch to the smartphone plan. $20. That is the one I am on and it works well. I don't have the cingular video on the phone, but I don't want to pay the $20 extra for the PDA plan that gets cingular video. Not sure if the MM200 plan have cingular TV or not. wratran's comments would indicate to me that it does have Cingular TV (CV). If I could change this on-line it would be cool to add back the cingular video at no charge.

The MM plans do support CV. I've got MM and the support team set it up for me when we were trying to figure out why my email would't work. I still haven't come across anything that doesn't work.

I've also noticed that if you ask for data support you get a lot farther a lot faster then you will with the tech support that answers the phone. It didn't take long to figure out tech support is completely incompitant

I have MediaMax 200 on my blackjack and it's great.

Just tell them to totally remove your data package. Later that day, go to the web site and add mediamax 200
