Issue #1 I have a Motorla V3 RAZR and I make my own ringtones to put on bot me and my girlfriends's RAZR. Now, I can assign any ringtone to my default ringer just fine. But when I go into my phone book and try to assign certain people certain ringers, theres big blank gaps all over the place where my real ringtones are and when highlighted it just plays the default generic ringtone. Sometimes the real ringtones when highlighted play as the generic ringtone. My girlfriends RAZR has all the same configuration is mine but only mine is doing this. Any suggestions?

Issue #2 I have one of the Motorola bluetooth headsets, the 500 or whatever, and it says when I get a call I'm supposed to hear my ringtone through the earpiece. The default ringtone I choses usually plays just fine, but when the bluetooth piece is turned on, and I get a call, it plays that same default generic ringtone I mentioned in the first issue....My friend has a V3R and has the same problem. Once again, any suggestions?

Thanks.

I can only help you with #2. That is the default ringtone you are hearing when the Bluetooth headset is connected. There is no way around this, no hack, no SEEM edit, nothing to get around it. I believe that most Motorola phones are like this.

Now, for the first problem. Delete all of the ringtones that you loaded onto the phone, and leave the stock ones. I am assuming that you did not delete any of the stock ringers. If you did, there is something that you need to do, but if you didn't, don't worry about it. Now, reload your ringtones. If you are doing this with a P2K program, you need to delete the two .db files and restart the phone. If you are using Bluetooth or emailing them to yourself, don't worry about the .db files.
