Hi guys,
I picked up a "Starter Kit" from Wireless Wave that includes a carrying case and a car charger. It's for a blackberry, but the case fits my S621. My only concern is the car charger. It's a mini-usb, and the "knowlegable" folks at Wireless Wave says it's no problem. Can any of you guys confirm if using a no-name mini-usb car charger will be a problem?
Thanks
Unc.

Should be fine, I was looking at the HTC S621's charger and it's a 1 A output, the Motorola/BB chargers are 0.5 A output. So it'll effectively output less electricity with the Motorola/BB, it'll take longer to charge your phone but shouldn't kill the battery.
But then again, who am I kidding, you might wanna ask someone knowledgable.

also if its anything like my 8525 .. after you get less the 15% left on your battery... the .5a will not charge it,,, gonna need that 1amp..

Hi guys,
Thanks for your input. The car charger doesn't say how many amps it is, so I'll just assume it's 0.5. Good tip about charging when battery life is 15% or lower.

Thats odd, I use a Moto charger for my S620 even when my battery is fully dead and it charges it without any problems. Not to mention I bought a generic "Moto/BB" car charger from wal-mart and it works without any issues.
I just like keeping original chargers un-touched if I can, so thats why I have yet to even use my HTC original charger since I have a few moto mini-usb ones laying around.
