Kyocera Kx16 Cloneing

I have an Alltel KX16 that I bought on E-bay that is unlocked. My service provider is Revol in Columbus, Ohio. They cannot use this phone, so they say. It is a model they used to sell, but the are limited to a certain list of phone id's. My phone is not one of their phones, so they won't let me use it. Could this really be true or are they just trying to keep my from using a phone is did not buy from them? I can get to programming with 111111. I seem to need some other code to get the phone to think it's a revol phone. Does anyone know the special code for Revol, Columbus? I have an official kyocera phone (k-10)that's all set up but it's a crappy phone with much wear. can I get enough info from my k10 to set up my kx16?
