Use WiFi from HTC Vox as internet on laptop??

I have an HTC Vox on TMobile, which includes use of T-Mobile HotSpots. Is there a way I can use my phone's WiFi as my laptop's modem? I went into the Internet Sharing app in WM6 on the phone and it lets me use my GPRS just fine, but there is no option to use my phone's WiFi. Please help...thanks.

If you subscribe to HotSpots then you can use it on your laptop as well. Just use the same info, or call 611. But I'm sure that if you can access HotSpots using your dash, you should be able to do it from your laptop.

I'm not sure, but I think he was asking of you can share the WiFi connection on the Vox for internet on a laptop (in case the laptop doesn't have built-in WiFi). Right?

If that's the case, it can't be done AFAIK. Only GPRS/EDGE connection works for internet sharing.

It won't work. While you can share the Wi-Fi-based HTTP connection with my dedicated HTTP proxy, there are no BT PAN / USB-based connectivity capabilities you could further share it to other clients. See my related articles.

What would be really good is if we can make our phone's little mini wifi routers. Like if we can use gprs/edge connection and share it via wifi (not bluetooth) with other laptops. Wish someone would make that program.
