I don't know, I've been having a lot of problems with it, and though I could live with it for a while, before I got the Ocean, I was debating on other phones too. I'm still under the 30-day guarantee for another week or so, and was considering cancelling, but don't know what phone/carrier I'd go to.
A few phones I was looking at were:
Nokia N95, N93i, N76 (I've always been a Nokia fan)
Or possibly an HTC (but I've never used one, kind of wanted a smart phone though), I saw the Tytn and the Wing
Maybe the Samsung F520 or F700 (if and when they come out). So..I don't know. The LG KS20 sounds promising too, but who knows when that thing will be released.
The whole sliding qwerty grew on me, and size isn't a HUGE factor to me, as long as it fits okay in my pocket, I don't want a gigantic phone. I also like the GPS deal with the Ocean and N95, and 3G stuff is nice too. Bleh...I don't know, maybe I'm just better off sticking with the Ocean, it's a lot cheaper than these other phones, that's for sure.
The form factor that would probably be best would be a sliding qwerty, but I guess I wouldn't mind a regular slider or a flip without a qwerty. Not really a big fan of candybar form factors with a qwerty right on the front. I'm in OC, California too, so a carrier that works well around here will be a definate must.
Maybe I'm too picky.
Any suggestions? hah.

May I ask what exactly the problems are that you have been having? The Ocean is really the only phone that fits those requirements so I would see if there is anything else you can do before getting rid of it.

Well, the processor on the thing is incredibly weak/slow, I suppose to keep costs down and up the battery life. This leads to really bad lag and inability to do simple multi-tasking. The software is lacking in areas that you would think would be a given, such as bluetooth. The bluetooth can only pair with headsets, no data transfering capability. There's no universal file viewer, and it's a pain moving things around. I was trying to move a few select pictures by "checking" or selecting them and then move them as a group, but it doesn't allow it. It can only move one thing at a time or everything. The calendar app straight up sucks. The speaker phone is weak. etc. So as you can see, these are all things I guess I can live with, but sometimes makes me think I should look into a better phone. But like I said, maybe I'm just too picky and should just settle for the Ocean for now.

I had the Helio Ocean. It was a great phone, but it was a slow phone. The youtube function and the file viewer were great programs. The only problem i have with helio is the service. After an error with my phone, they told me to dish out another 400 dollars (when it first came out) to get another phone. I just switched to AT&T and got an iPhone. I also have a KS20 for work. They are both great phones.

The Pantech Duo has the same specs except for GPS, and has the ability to multitask and everything. It's with ATT, and their coverage is pretty decent throughout California according to their coverage maps. They have the same 30 day test period, so if you decide to return the Ocean you can always try the Duo and AT&T service for 30 days.
