Indeed it can be. However we are still working on wap and mms access. Tell cricket it is a krzr when you get it activated through 611. Heh.

Whats is wap and mms? Text messaging and internet? How about picture messaging? Can any flash phones keep that feature with Cricket? Right now I have a Treo 700wx and was thinking bout changing to the Q.

Hi, I've successfully flashed my Motorola Q to cricket with working Mobile Web and Picture Messaging. I've put cricket's Mobile Web (and MMS if I'm lucky) on a lot of different flashed pda phones, and the Q is by far the most stable of the bunch, as far as Mobile Web/MMS is concerned. Actually, overall it's a pretty damn stable phone. I'm working on a writeup that makes more sense than the rough posting I did the other nite, which is here:

Also, I've recently downloaded RSD General 4.5 which sort of sees the Q, and should make easier work of most of the complicated RadioComm seem edits I had to do on mine. If you can convert hex to dec, feel comfortable editting xml files, and have gotten Mobile Web to work on other pda phones, it's not too tough of a procedure. It took me countless hours the first time, but I can do the entire procedure on someone's Q in less than 30min now.
