Refurb phone

Just received another replacement phone. How can you tell if it is a refurb or a new phone?

By just looking at it? Impossible.
Go check the Cingular Forum, perhaps there someone has posted some of the serial numbers the first batch of 8525 were. That way you might know if your phone is new or not.
That aside, most companies will give you refurbished units as a replacement policy.
