anyone successfully bluetooth the c300?

I've gotten a data cable and cd driver even and have gotten so far as where it prompts me to input a security code (????????!) and no dice. It won't recognize the device.
I had tried my phone number in there and then "0000" but neither worked.
No idea what I'm missing....
