E815 Memory Card Problems

I recently purchased a 1 gig TransFlash card for my E815, as I discussed in an earlier thread. I had numerous problems, mostly with the phone freezing and telling me that the card was not formatted. When I tried to format the card it would say "Format Failed" and I would be stuck in the same place...having a 1 gig card that caused my phone to freeze.

I then learned that I needed to format it on a computer for the FAT file system and then insert it into the E815 for it to work properly. I did this, and it worked until I rebooted the phone. Same problems.

I'm fresh out of idea's hear. I searched the forums and Internet but to no avail. Anyone else experiences similar problems or know what I ought to do here?
