Is it worth it...?

So I haven't had the time to get my 903sh that was put in the wash checked out yet. I am thinking about buying another one (used, i will be the third user) for approx. $420 complete with original accessories and two batteries, plus free casing change from black to my original white. The catch is, the seller wants my 'dead' phone and the black casing to try to sell its parts.

Is the deal worth it? What would you guys think is the estimated value of the individual parts and getting the housing changed?

thx.

if he's changing the case, then $400 should be ok.

if you are, then offer like $350... changing the 903 case is a pain

You better trust him and don't send anything first if it is through mail. Seen too many stories of people being ripped off. But yeah changing the case is horrible. I tried it and it took forever, I would gladly pay someone to do it if I had to do it all over again.

Thx guys for your opinions. So to update, I did go through with the deal for $380. It was a local deal. I had met up with the seller the first time, was undecided so I kept in good communication with the seller and then bought it from him a month later. The seller was very trustworthy.

We're still looking for a very reputable place to do a housing change in the GTA, so if you guys have any suggestions as to where to go I'm all ears!! :P
