Unlocked V3X but can't get Vodafone Live !

Hiya
My wife was originally on 3 network. She is now on Vodafone so needed to get her V3X unlocked for Vodafone.
That is now done and all seems fine.
She was sent a Picture message but could not receive it because the settings were not correct for Vodafone.
I have gone on the Vodafone site and sent her the relevant settings. Part of the procedure is to goto Vodafone Live so she can set up the internet part. There is no Vodafone live icon on in the settings part, it is still showing the 3 Logo.
It would seem it is unlocked but still has the old 3 bits in the phone. How can this all be cleared ready for a complete Vodafone setting ?
