thinking about buying a nano..

did they ever fix that system that they had on ipods where everything gets sorted by ID3 tags? it's been a while since i used ipod.. but god, i hate not being able to use folders.. since my ID3 tags are really disorganized, and i don't like using program to change it..

everything ipod is sorted by id3 tags
including itunes

if all your music is tagged by the filename, then i would suggest a program called mediamonkey
you can use it to write id3 tags using the file name.

ie.
file: 03 - Green Day - Bla bla bla (2010)
in mediamonkey, you would do this
<Track#> - <Artist> - <Title> (Year)

argh.. still..
i wish they would change that, it's so much work.. why not just use folder based system..

The site for that is Ipod Wizard. They also show you how to mod your Ipod for backgrounds and all that Jazz.
