Is the Blackjack still out with the Cingular branding or it has switched to AT&T?

Yep, no more Cingular 4-legged amoeba. Although I'm guessing the Cingular/ATT stores will make sure they sell off all the Cingular branded BJs before they start selling the ATT ones.

Just got mine the other day. AT&T branding on it. Was quite happy about that too!

I got a refurb off of Cingular.com and have been having some weird/buggy issues (stuck menus, stuff not working, etc.). I think I got a lemon. How easy are they at the AT&T store with exchanging it for an AT&T branded one (or even Cingular branded)? Do they have AT&T branded refurbs yet? I haven't sent my rebate in yet so maybe I'll just pay the extra for a new one. If I just swapout the refurb for another can I just give them the phone only and then they give me another refurb phone only back (just swapout sims and battery)? I don't know when I'll get by an AT&T store so I may not have my charger, box, etc. with me at the time. I'm hoping they'll just do a phone swap. If I go with a new one, I'm sure they'll need everything (box, charger, batteries, etc.) returned also. My 30 day window is up on Saturday so I probably should get this done before then in case they won't swapout phones. If that's the case, I'll just turn everything back in and stick with my old phone for now and save my upgrade.

Thanks for any advice.

You should be able to do an exchange at a corporate store even if you got it from cingular.com. I am pretty sure that you are going to need at least the phone and the box to be able to do it though. If you get someone that is having a good day, they may not require anything else. If it were me, I would just pack up the whole thing, make a special trip to a corp. store by tomorrow, and pay the difference to get a new one. There is a reason that yours was returned. Only a small percentage of returns are brought back just because someone doesn't like it.

Good luck with whatever you decide!
