Chocolate MP3 Ringtones (New Method??)

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

I spoke to a Bell CSR at a Bell Store, and asked how to upload MP3 ringtones onto the Chocolate phone. He said:

-Plug phone to computer via USB (I guess assuming you have the drivers installed).
-Access it through My Computer as a removable drive.
-Click: Tools>Folder Options>View>Show Hidden Files and Folders. (He said that there is a folder for ringtones that is hidden).
-Then drag and drop into ringtones folder.

I don't know if it works; but from all the threads on the Chocolate phone, I haven't come across this method. So, if someone can try it out and confirm it...that would be awesome!

(I can't try it because I don't have a Chocolate phone - but I'm deciding whether to get one).

This method worked flawlessly with my chocolate on Fido, but I cant say anything about the Bell one.

I think all Bell cellphone OBEX functionality are disabled.

won't work, with the chocolate you don't have access to the mass storage unless its through bitpim...thus why you can't transfer pictures and you need the music backup application for tunes...as mentioned before this is for the GSM version
