Strobe File Transfer

I have a Strobe from USCC (don't laugh, I like to text and the strobe works well for that) I have one ringtone that I made years ago that is an mp3 and I am trying to get it transfered to my strobe. I have tried the bluetooth thing, I get it paired to my computer, but even with MPT I can't get it to connect to the phone. I got the cable (the one that ends in 046) and can get it to connect and install modem drivers, but MPT still doesn't find it, it locks halfway through the discovery process and tells me to do it manually. I have tried both methods on 2 different computers to no avail. I have the kyocera wireless server program, but don't know how to use it. Rumor has it that USCC disables file transfers and that you can enable them with that program, something else I have heard is that with easycdma I can access the PRL and make changes to the hex that way, but I haven't heard specific instructions on what keys to change. I really don't want to brick my phone. Please HELP ME.
P.S. I have always read the forums, but just joined a couple of days ago and I love it.

Sorry, I had meant KPT, I had been using MPT with my Motos previously, I guess I just wasn't paying any attention to my typing.

I'm also having a lot of problems with my Strobe. I have been trying to find a way to connect the phone through bluetooth to my computer without having to go and specifically buy kyocera's own special cord/software. From what I've seen so far, that's the only shot I have at connecting to it. And yes, I'm also with USCC.
If I am ever able to get it to work, will I be able to get pictures I take with it off of the phone? If not, it's a pretty new phone, so I'll just take it back to the store and get something else that'll work with me better. I do love texting with it though, and that'll be tough to give up.
Should I even bother getting the special cable/software or cut my losses and exchange it for another phone that will sync with my computer without any special bluetooth software?
EDIT: Is there ANY phone (any brand) anyone can recommend that easily syncs with computers via bluetooth? I can't believe how frustrating this is, and how it seems every phone is.

Here is some help I posted after I solved some of my problems...

however, I have not found a way to transfer files via bluetooth yet, I had to get a cable, but they are available cheap on ebay, as for software, bit pim or easy cdma will work. I have more luck with easy cdma, but you have to give 20 bucks for it and it is slower, bit pim is my preferred program, but I haven't been able to get it to talk to phone yet.

Object Push via bluetooth is not enabled on the phones. Hence your problem.
